💫From Pain to Purpose💫
From bright academic scholar to college dropout back to bright college student and entrepreneur. This is a story of resilience and using art to navigate the curveballs that life throws your way.
Andrea Augustus is a spoken word artist and art activist from New York. She is an advocate of the M.O.P.P.D. Movement-More Opportunities for Personal and Professional Development. As a black female student, she's faced emotional challenges and traumas from the ongoing violence against people of color across the nation to combat depression and anxiety. Creating art has pulled her from the darkness back into the light over and over again.
Now she connects with organizations that want to teach their community how to slay their emotional challenges using art.
Her speaking engagement connects with listeners on a personal level as we dive into emotional well-being, discrimination, traumas, and wellness tools.
